I've been feeling much better the past few days. Again writing down a "to do" list for each day helps a lot. It feels good at the end of the day to look at the page and cross off all the things I accomplished. Anything I haven't done gets pushed ahead to the next day and the next until I get everything done in one last burst -- in this case, probably the night before I go home for Easter.
KXUA's 6th Annual Birthday Bash was last night at the Gypsy on Dickson Street. I got there about 10:30 after work. Ran into almost everyone I knew: Alejandro and Jeff, Meredith, from PRIDE. My friend Paul was there with his girlfriend, Natalie. Roger was there with his boyfriend, Stephen. On the KXUA front, Bo, Derek, Dave Prater, Joel and Ed were all there. I spotted Alex the Greek and another guy I don't know by name. Of the nine girls at KXUA, I was the only one there. Patty was in Hot Springs for the weekend. I stuck around afterwards to help the guys load up the catering gear (we had pizza from HogWild and rice and beans from Lynne's Cajun) and help Joel haul the tables, banners and other supplies back to the office in the Union.
I missed a call from Tony while I was out, called him back. Him coming to see me during Easter is looking more like a sure thing. He has to get his car inspected same as me and, if all goes well, he'll be heading out early Friday morning. Me, I have German at 9:30 and then World Lit at 12:30. So I'll be leaving and getting into StL about the same as last time (between 7 and 7:30 pm), but this time I'll have daylight the whole way there.
Meanwhile, my muses are getting indignant at their stories being left on the shelf and I've got a whole new crop of plotbunnies jotted down in my notebooks. Hopefully once this week's over I'll have a lot more opportunities to write. "Death" has my first priority, with "The Bunny" and a new story I'm calling "Bruise" coming second. Also, I haven't been in the mood to finish my latest RPS the past few days -- mainly because it involves a sex scene and stress sapped a lot of my energy. Watch, after the visit with Tony, it'll be finished *and* twice as long.
