The dead don't dream

Okay, I actually have no idea if that's true. I do know that I'm still alive (in spite of my low post rate here) and I had a dream last night. wolf_heart9, you'll be proud of me: I actually wrote this one down as soon as I woke up.

We were at the Hyatt Regency O' Hare in Chicago. Not sure how many of us or who there was in the group itself, but we were sitting on the carpet in the lobby area near the elevator, chatting. It had the air of a convention -- like the way the Hyatt feels when Beatlefest and Comic Con are going on. I was sitting next to Benedict Cumberbatch who had slightly longer hair (still with his Star Trek dye job) and was wearing a dark coat. He turned to me conspiratorily and asked what one does if they find themselves with a deck of cards on the Belmont level, meaning one of the upper levels of the hotel (there is no such level. Belmont is the name of a street in my neighborhood). We laughed and I told him he could start a poker game. And he laughed again.

This is probably my equivalent of a wet dream at the moment: fulfillment in laughter and closeness and camaraderie. It was nice. And I'm very glad it was Cumberbatch.

FUCK! Your husband's started flirting with you in your dreams! Kickass! I need to start writing my dreams down again. It's been too long. Way too long.
